Our Story
Nit Nabbers was founded by Jessica Sammis, a local teacher who discovered a need within the Charlotte community. Through her own experiences in the schools where she’s taught, Jessica saw the terrible frustration and difficulty that many parents would experience when dealing with a head lice infestation. Through many hours of research, she discovered how to effectively treat head lice without the use of pesticides and chemicals found in over the counter lice removal shampoos. And thus, Nit Nabbers was born.
After 10 years of experience at Nit Nabbers, Barbara is now owner and head Lice Removal Specialist. She continues to make sure the founding principles are upheld and that every customer ends up feeling satisfied and happy to call us again when the need arises.
